Lana's first birthday was on March 22nd. Also, the first time Lana has ever been sick was the week of her birthday. It didn't make for a very happy birthday girl. It's also made it really hard for Kyle and me to get anything done because we have found out that Lana gets super clingy when she is sick. She refuses (still) to drink anything, we have been feeding her extra to try to make up for it, but are still worried. We took her to the doctor and he thought she had an ear infection, we treated that but she still won't drink. She has lost weight; she was almost at twenty pounds two weeks before her birthday now she is down to 17.5 pounds (which is around what she weighed at her nine month check-up). She had to have a urine test and blood work done, but thank goodness they all came back okay. She has been actually playing more this last week, so we hope that she is improving even though she still isn't drinking. She goes for a weight check tomorrow, hopefully she hasn't lost any more wight. If she has, the doctor will want to run more tests. Please keep Lana in your prayers! Other than Lana being sick her birthday party was a lot of fun. Thank you everyone for the gifts! I am posting pictures below and there are quite a few.
